PUZZELS

The amount of different "events" that need to happen between light and form to create the shadow keeps me fascinated. Even if the logic of it is so simple and pretty well explained, for unexplainable reasons I can get enough of it, I'm still amazed by the range of volumes that shade contains. As light as a shadow, both have architectural quality, as raw concrete or the most sublime transparency of massive windows. This project was one of the first "shadow discoveries", light together with transparent forms reveal shadow-structures that (in my eyes) open another "three-dimensional" space, which moves, alongside light.
